Let's have a look at the course of a sample for the genomic indexation in cattle.

All the kits requested during the day are send in the afternoon

Sample collected by an authorized person

Before 10:30 AM, all the parcels are sorted by species and analysis

Each sample is verified and enter in the traceability system

All the biopsies are placed on racks containing 96 samples

Each day, LABOGENA can extract high quality - quantity DNA from 2.000 samples

Day 1 - The working plates are prepared

Day 1  - The reagents are mixed with an agitator

Day 2 - After few steps, the ADN (in blue) is dried

Day 2 - The DNA samples are spotted on the chips by a robot

Day 3 - A fluorescent reagent is added to the chips with a robot

Day 3 - The chips are removed from their chamber

Day 3 - The chips will be washed several times

Day 3 - The chips are placed on a rack for analysis

Day 3 - The racks containing the chips are loaded into the scanner with a robot

Day 3 - The fluorescence signals are verified in real time

Once the raw data are validated, we send them for index estimation

All the samples are stored either at -20°C or at room temperature for one year
